REVIEW: theBalm's Nude 'Tude Palette!

If I lost all my makeup and had to rebuild my makeup kit, theBalm's Nude 'Tude would probably be the first eye shadow palette I'd repurchase. Read on to find out why!

The packaging is without a doubt really good! It's nice and secure and having dropped mine quite a few times (oops, that's no way to treat such a beautiful palette Ayesha) I know for a fact that the cardboard absorbs any shock nicely and it also comes with an extra cardboard sleeve you can store the palette in when not in use. Sure keeps the actual palette from getting dirty although I haven't noticed any stains or wear on outer sleeve and I've had it for about 8 months now.

Speaking of dirty, hahah, the inside of the palette is quite cheeky but I do love the retro glam ladies and all. It might bother some that the eye shadow pans aren't aligned straight but it doesn't bother me at all. Not only am I a fan of all things retro, I loveee a huge mirror in a palette, like the Sleek i-divines, this one is nice and big. I have to confess, I sometimes just take this out to stare and swatch the beautiful shadows and use the mirror even when I'm not using the eye shadows.

It's a slim palette and feels nice in the hands, nothing too bulky and not feather light either. Ofcourse, the magnetic closure hurts no one either and keeps the contents of this pretty palette secure.

It comes with a double ended travel sized brush. I really don't care so much about the angled shader end of it and the only time I've ever found it to be helpful is to pack on a color onto the crease but boy do I LOVEEE the other end. The tiny angled brush is a babe! It's super thin so it gives you the most precise shadow liner on the lids or below them. This is also probably my favorite brush for brows because it is super fine.

Onto the shadows. Each gorgeously pigmented and soft, the 12 shades range from a frosty white to a matte black and everything in between. Love their color selection! These would work for anyone and everyone. I love how it's not just the usual selection of a limited lights and darks from a similar color family.

Sassy is a pretty frosty white while Snobby is a pale gold with a satin finish. A satin baby pink is Stubborn followed by a super gorgeous pale metallic pink called Stand-offish. Selfish is a gorgeous taupe whereas Sultry is the perfect medium matte brown. Sophisticated is cool taupey-brown with gold reflects running through and Seductive a pretty shimmery medium golden brown. Sexy is an intensely pigmented deep plumy burgundy matte while Silly is a deep brown with gold glitters. Serious is a dead on matte black and Sleek is a soft matte dark chocolate brown.

The shadows are so soft and apply with ease and wear until removed forcibly with a primer underneath. I've worn these without any primer and they're still vibrant and long lasting but a primer just makes them perfect.

My favorites have to be Stand-offish, Sultry, Sexy, Serious and Sleek!

To sum it up, this is most definitely my most favorite eye shadow palette followed by the Sleek Storm palette. If you are a neutral eye shadow lover you will love this. It's a bit pricey at $36 but it's worth every penny!

LOVES:
-What's not to love?
-No seriously, amazeballs pigmentation.
-Pretty packaging.
-Soft, easy to work with shadows.
-Long lasting.

DISLIKES:
- A bit pricey.
-Not available in Pakistan easily.

My Rating:
5/5: It deserves no less!

Folks in Pakistan can buy this online at Beauty Hub. People of the USA check out theBalm's website! UK people shop at FeelUnique! :)
