REVIEW: Luscious Loves Fashion- Sania Maskatiya!

I can't imagine spring without a sprinkle of some sunny yellow in it and one of the Luscious Loves Fashion nail colors I was most excited to try out was the Sania Maskatiya sunshine yellow!

The color looks super fresh in the bottle and I especially love the rectangular packaging although I was afraid the pale yellow might look slightly off on my olive-yellow skin tone and make my finger tips look dark and sickly I decided I'd still give it a go since the shade is so unique!

Here's what I love about this product:

Contrary to my fear of the shade making my hands look weird, the color is beautiful and doesn't for a second make me look like Ms.Zombie hands. It's a very pale, pastel yellow, almost lemon but it's not too striking at all. Perfect for Asian skintones? That's exactly what Luscious is best at! I love that the polish dries considerably fast as well and doesn't go on goopy. I think this shade will look pretty on all skin tones. Even better is the PKR 295 price tag these come with. You'd think "Designer polishes? Limited edition? Oh no must be a bit heavy on the pocket" but these are super affordable!

Here's what I don't love so much about this product:

Despite being a gorgeous shade, the formula isn't the best thing about this. It's a fairly thin formula, which I don't mind personally but it can be slightly streaky and may take 2-3 coats to get a full opaque swatch. Swatched above I have used only 2 coats of this polish so it depends on your personal preference and nail type I suppose. In terms of longevity I'm not complaining because has lasted me 5 days without chipping but I'm not impressed until I see it go through a weeks jewelry making and come out chip-free!

All in all, I do love this nail polish, although this may not be everyone's cup of tea because the shade is very different from all the classics! I got so many compliments on my nails this week being asked what shade from what brand I'm wearing. Compliments from total strangers (well almost) is always a win! My girls in uni tried it on too and they've all fallen in love! Despite the formulation being a bit tricky it's nothing that a girl can't make it work. Perfect for spring, I won't be surprised if I pick up a back up for myself!
