REVIEW: MUA Blush- Shade 3!

So if you follow my blog you'd know by now that I'm no blush fanatic. I wasn't until I met the MUA blush in Shade 3! Read on to find out how this 1 pound gem (the song 1 pound fish is now stuck in my head :( sorry if it's now in yours too :p ) won me over. I'm officially a blush girl now!

The packaging is fairly simple, nothing too fancy schmancy but not ugly either. For the price, you really can't complain. I like how it's super compact and sturdy enough as well. What I don't like is how the silver writing on the lid fades away. It makes the product look so untidy and just annoys me.

You get 2.4g of product which is not bad at all! Should last quite a while and I haven't made so much as a tiny dent in it since I got it in January this year!

The blush is nicely pigmented and goes on super smooth! I love using it with my Real Techniques blush brush, it literally glides on and blends nicely without excessive work. Swirling the brush in the pan does however, produce quite a bit of fall out which I haven't experienced with the Sleek blushes however, the e.l.f studio blushes tend to produce more fall out than this so keeping the price in mind, this one wins over e.l.f anyday! I also love how long this blush lasts! On my combination to mostly oily skin, this blush doesn't fade away until a good 4-5 hours so I'm definitely impressed. It definitely transfers though because I tend to touch the right side of my face a lot and it fades quicker on that side, so setting it with a makeup fixative should help it last even longer. I've used it with the e.l.f makeup mist & set and this lasts on me more than 7 hours without transferring.

Shade 3 is a gorgeous matte dusty coral with a hint of pink. Deep enough to give a soft flush but light enough to pass off as a natural blush. For someone who'd mostly pass on blush for just bronzer on regular days, imagine how much would I be loving it to be using this almost everyday now, most days I wear no other makeup but just some concealer and this! I also love pairing it with the Accessorize Golden Sand as a highlight. They go together like a match made in heaven.

To sum it up, I'd recommend this blush to anyone! It's definitely worth a try and definitely worth more than the price you pay for it. A color that should work on most skin tones this is a lovely addition to my everyday makeup bag!
