REVIEW: Accessorize Baked Bronzer in Golden Sand!

A product I've been reaching for every single day since I got it, let's see what's special about the Accessorize Baked Bronzer in Golden Sand.

First of all, you gotta love the packaging, you just cannot ignore the gorgeous compact even if you're the least into butterflies like me. It's impressive! Chunky but impressive. I miss not having a mirror inside but what makes up for it is the 12.5g whopping product I get for the price of just 7 pounds!

Coming to the product, I do not, and simply do not see what coloring a person would have to be to make this work as a bronzer? Sheet white maybe? I still think that this will stand out as highlighting product rather than a bronzer. After looking up swatches online, I was already convinced that this won't be of much use as a bronzer so it was obviously purchased because I wanted a highlighter. I have to say, not dissappointed.

In the pan what looks like a soft, peachy champagne shade with hints of bronzy veining transfers onto the skin as a gorgeous pale gold, very soft and luminescent. What's best about the product is that there's hardly any bits of shimmer and glitter noticeable and yet it highlights the skin beautifully. It's not an OTT highlighter so if you're looking for some serious sparkle this product won't be the one for you but if you want the perfect airbrushed luminiscent glow, this is perfect! For me, this is the perfect everyday highlighter, except I don't use it every single day obviously but just days when I feel like it or I want something extra as a pick me up for the face. I especially love how this product does not emphasize the pores on my combination to oily skin and the lasting power is incredible. Unless I touch my face a lot during the day, it will still be very much there on my face with the slightest of fading. I am super impressed. With a fixative spray, this lasts and lasts and lasts.

Sorry for my post-henna-stricken hand swatches, but oh well :P

It's kinda hard to capture it's luminescence on camera but you can tell better in the finger swatches how it's got the nice sheen that imparts glow to the skin minus the chunky glitter or shimmer particles. You can see me wearing this highlighter here
& here.

To sum it up, I am absolutely in love! I haven't been able to stop using this product and am afraid I'll hit pan on it so I'm trying to refrain. I'd repurchase this if it wasn't out of stock on Just4girls.pk (where I got mine from) but hopefully I can get my hands on a backup if someone is visiting Pakistan from the UK if need be. Hopefully, it won't ;)

There isn't a single thing about this that I don't love, so I shall skip the usual loving and disliking section. This has been my favorite since I bought it for my birthday and I haven't been able to find one thing I dislike.

My Rating:
5/5: Makes me feel awesome!!!
