REVIEW: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendevous!

Incredibly long name for a blog post indeed! In my last review for the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains I expressed my LOVE for the shade Crush. I'm reviewing the shade Rendevous today! But did I fall in love all over again?

Head over heels!!! Not only is the formula the same promising minty balm with a lasting stain, the shade Rendevous is perfect for summer! Let me just say it! I didn't think I could be anymore impressed with these but I am! These have slowly become my most reached for products. For an indepth review check this post out!

As far as Rendevous is concerned, it's a gorgeous true orange that translates to a warm toned corally orange on the lips. I love the fact that it's true to the color on the packaging and I'm not sure what it is about this specific shade, but it gives me plumped up lips which is something I do not experience with the other JBKBS I have tried so far so this one definitely wins some extra points from me. I am not quite sure how but its literally works better than the actual lip plumpers I have tried so far but maybe it's just me, or maybe it's the gloss that comes from the product. It lasts just about the same as Crush on me, a light swipe lasts 5-7 hours and a built up lip can take down any meals and all lasting all day! It seems unbelievable but you have to try to find out for yourself! :)

I just had to compare the MUA Power Pout  in Justify with this! They look super similar but are certainly nothing alike in the way they work on the lips or swatched. While the Revlon version is much true to the packaging color when swatched, Justify swatches quite pink in comparison. Also, the textures are completely different. While the MUA Power Pout in Justify is closer to what Revlon's lip butters are like, glossy and light on the lips leaving a light stain, the JBKBS are that slight bit more of a balm and do not completely feel "buttery" on the lips, you definitely feel the balm until the gloss goes away leaving a longlasting matte stain behind. I love that the Revlon JBKBS do not melt or break away like the MUA versions, so for me, the winner is clear!

Left: Revlon "Rendevous". Right: MUA Power Pout "Justify"

Rendevous is everything and more than I expected it to be, and I couldn't be happier because it's a stunner! Orange lovers need to grab this!

My Rating:
5/5: Summer love!

Thanks for reading! Let me know your summer favorites! Have the Revlon Kissable Balm Stains made it to your favorites list?
