REVIEW: Saeed Ghani Rose Ayurvedic Tonic!

Does the cold weather leave your skin parched? Or do you fear that the summer heat will will strip your skin of all its freshness? So where does the Saeed Ghani Rose Ayurvedic Tonic come in all of this you ask? Let's just find out!

Rose water has been known for its benefits to the skin and what not and is even consumed orally since ages. I had never tried any off the counter rose water treatments or spray tonic like this one here and so I wanted to give it a try. For the price of PKR 240 for a big bottle and PKR 80 for a small one it's pretty cheap and a nice handy size to keep anywhere you like. The bottle comes packaged in a cardboard box and I wish these were sealed because one of these spray bottles leaked on their way here but that was also because my package came bubbles wrap less unlike usual for which the website politely offered me a refund and apologized for the inconvenience.

Onto the product now, the bottle itself is a the most basic of spray bottles, plastic and a conventional shape, nothing fancy here. The size is what I love. It's not too huge and for the price it's still quite a generous quantity. The spray nozzle works fine and releases an averagely fine mist which I am personally quite happy with.

As for the rose water itself, it's quite nice on the skin on a hot day helps revive your skin if you need it. I use it on days I am sick to refresh my skin and although it doesn't work wonders, it helps soften my skin and leave it smooth and refreshed. I have slightly acne prone skin and this product hasn't broken me out nor has it helped lessen the occasional zits I get. If you need a very light moisturization to make your skin smooth and supple yet not oily, this is perfect for that. It absorbs into the skin fast and doesn't make it greasy. This product does have a scent though, but nothing too strong. You may notice a burst of roses on your face when you first spray it, but it doesn't last very long on me.

I haven't tried spraying this over my face with makeup on but I do spritz this on my eyeshadow brush if I want a wet eyeshadow look and it works perfectly fine over a primer without creasing or transferring.

I got mine from Just4girls.pk and they stock most of Saeed Ghani products!

LOVES:
-Portability.
-Usage.
-Cooling and soothing effect it has on skin.

DISLIKES:
-Packaging is too basic but I guess you get what you pay for.

My Rating:
3/5: Hmm...Maybe baby!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope this review helped someone out there :)
