So it's raining outside and the weather is beautiful! How perfect can 14th August be! I wish all my Pakistani followers a very Happy Independence Day! <3 Since today was spent mostly indoors throughout the day, I decided I'd get ready for the night to go out after iftari and celebrate independence day with Ombre Eyeliner and Nails to match!
Since the "Ombre" effect is such a HUGE trend for the spring and summer of 2012 I thought what better way to be in fashion while celebrating Pakistan's birthday! So because this is like THE trend of the year, here's how I did my Ombre eyeliner and nails! Just going to post this real quick!
Once you're happy with the color let your nails dry. Don't worry if it look a bit clumpy in some areas. Once dry, you can fix that with a top coat and you're done!!! :)
Add mascara and you're done! I paired this with WnW's Don't Blink Pink, a bright pink lip color but you can choose to use whatever you like :)

The Nails
You're basically going to need your desired nail colors, some sponges, water, and some nail polish remover with cotton buds.
Start by dipping the sponge into water and adding your nail colors in stripes in the order you want!

Press the sponge onto your nail multiple times or until all the color has transferred from the sponge onto your nail. Here's how it will look after one try.
Repeat the previous steps until you've achieved your desired gradient and intensity of colors! Don't worry about the mess! You can clean it up with a cotton bud later.
Enjoy Ombre nails for 14th of August!!!
The Eyes
Prime your lids, closer to the lash line and blend.
Use a wet angled brush and take a light green eyeshadow across the lids to make a winged liner.
Darken the green from the wing using first a dark green and then intensify with a dark green black shade. It's best to use matte shades.
Add mascara and you're done! I paired this with WnW's Don't Blink Pink, a bright pink lip color but you can choose to use whatever you like :)
Hope you liked the look! Thankyou so much for reading. Comment down below if you like! I'm in quite a hurry so excuse any typos and stuff. Have a very happy independence day! Love you all! PAKISTAN ZINDABAD!!! :)
