REVIEW: Wet n' Wild Vanity Palette.

Hello ladies! I am back after an entire week almost. These assignment deadlines are killing me! I barely have time to think about anything else and I'm also working on a little exhibition for my jewelry in December which is also one of the reasons for my absence from Blogger.

Anyways, with the weekend here, I am going to do a few posts and the first of hopefully many is the Wet n' Wild Vanity Palette reviewed!

The palette retails for a price of $4.99-6.99 depending on where you get it from, and contains 6 eyeshadows which include 3 mattes and 3 shimmers. As you can tell the shades are all neutral, very wearable, very basic.

The packaging is compact and sturdy. A great size for travel and this is the kind of palette that will fit easily into your everyday makeup bag. I like how it doesn't get too murky or scratchy over time and the writing hasn't faded yet either even though I've had this over 6 months. The back of this palette illustrates a very basic step by step instruction to create an eye makeup look using these shadows. The two mini applicators that come with this are useless really, except sometimes when I don't have a brush on hand in which case I'd use my fingers and maybe the little flat brush to blend, but it's not bad to have especially for beginners.

The quantity of the shadows is sufficient enough as well, and the pigmentation is awesome! Most of all, what I LOVE about all the shadows is how soft these are! These are super easy to work with and blend so so nice! I think these are my favourite matte shadows because of how nicely they apply and blend! Even though Sleek makeup makes some really good mattes, sometimes the pigmentation can be an issue with those but theseee, I LOVE!

The shades are neutral and transfer easily. None of the shades have pigmentation issues unless perhaps, if you're really light skinned, the fleshtone matte might not show up on your skin or the medium toned brown also might just end up not showing on medium toned complexion.

These swatches are literally just one swipe of my fingers onto the eyeshadows in the pans and then onto skin and without primer. It's hard to say which shade in this palette is my favourite and which one I don't like or don't see myself using. So many people all over Youtube and the blogosphere have compared these to MAC shadows and it is said that this palette contains a lot of MAC dupes.

That said, I think this is a great palette not only because it's super affordable, but also because of the amazing quality it offers and the fact that you just can't go wrong with these neutral shades. Many drugstore/ and high-end palettes fail to deliver what this little gem does! No wonder this little bad boy is usually sold out in stores! I'd recommend grabbing one soon if you can, especially if you are a beginner!

I got mine from We Makeup Blog you can also get it from Lush Grooming Bargains, Beauty Unleashed and International Makeup in Pakistan on Facebook! People outside Pakistan should check out Beauty Joint or their local CVS, Target, Walmart or drugstores for this palette and more by Wet n' Wild.

LOVES:
- Price.
- Pigmentation.
- Easy to work with.
- Lightweight and compact.
- Good quantity eyeshadows (not too small).

DISLIKES:
- Unavailability.

My Rating:
4/5: LOVE, This one's a keeper!
Thankyou for stopping by! Hope you enjoy your weekend! <3 Leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you!
