REVIEW: Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara!

The Revlon Grow Luscious by Fabulash was my go to mascara for long, defined lashes. So is the Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping mascara just as good to me or not? Let's find out!

I do love the packaging, it's very much the same as the Fabulash one except more glossy looking and has a nice silver turquoise ombre going on. Like the Revlon Grow Luscious Fabulash, this too has a little bit more chunky packaging than I'd prefer. It's once again a BIG mascara tube but nothing too over the top that won't fit in my makeup bag. I do prefer this one over that, because somehow, this feels nicer to hold and is lighter in weight and I do love the glossier packaging!

The color I got myself this time is Blackest Black, and it's interesting to note that you get 10 ml of product in this tube whereas my former lovely had 11.2 ml to offer. Not the greatest of differences really.

Moving on, the wand here is a tad bit smaller and is not tapered at the top like the Grow Luscious Fabulash. You'll find the same spiralling staircase here as well and because the tapered top is missing on this one it'll be harder to grab onto the the tiny inner corner lashes with this one. That said, the performance of this wand is still pretty good!

The formula for the plumping mascara is amazing! It is much more wetter than the Grow Luscious Fabulash but not in a way that hinders its performance. It dries rather quick for a wet formula and sets beautifully if you work fast enough. I love how this mascara really lifts or rather plumps I should say, the lashes even without a lash curler. What's even better is that the "plump" is there even when I reach home after the longest of work/uni days which is incredible since this mascara is not waterproof. It's easy to remove with water or makeup remover but doesn't flake or smudge on me through out the day.

Only thing I'd say is that for a wet formula, the mascara sets a little too quick and if you're not fast enough to work it into your lashes, the second or third coat might end up looking a little bit clumpy. Also, if you're looking for tonnes of volume I don't think this will do the job for you, it's great at lengthening the lashes though, where the Grow Luscious Fabulash was better at separating the lashes in my humble opinion!

To conclude things, I think I love this mascara more than the Grow Luscious Fabulash, and will continue to use this as my everyday mascara! Repurchase? Definitely! I prefer a single coat with this mascara because although you can't tell in through the photos (everything becomes flat) this mascara gives some really crazy length and really plumps up those lashes! I've been loving this one and would I recommend it to a friend?! Hell yeah!

You can get yours at Lush Grooming Bargains or at Just4girls.pk in Pakistan!

LOVES:
-Everything about this!

DISLIKES:
-Sets quick. (But that is a plus point for when you are in a hurry and don't want wet mascara smudges all over your lids! Ohh whatever, I love this one!)

My Rating:
4/5: LOVES! This ones a keeper!

I hope this review helped someone out there! What's your go to everyday mascara? Leave it in the comments down below because I'd love to know and try it out and don't forget to follow my blog for more!
