REVIEW: Milani Color Statement Lipstick - Nude Creme!

I can't possibly live without sharing some lip love on my blog! My favorite product to talk about is definitely the lipstick and today I bring you one from Milani that looks absolutely gorgeous! But does it perform that well too? All that glitters is not always gold ladies and gentlemen...(Thomas, I didn't forget you! ^_^)

But this one glitters, and is definitely gold!!! Not only is the packaging gold and gorgeous, it performs extremely well for me! The formula is cream as stated online, but I feel the finish is very similar to a semi matte or a satin lipstick! It reminds me of the Luscious Signature lipsticks especially Buff Pink because the finish is very similar to that shade! When I first applied this, it seemed COMPLETELY matte, and being the first lipstick I had tried from the Milani Color Statement line, I was confused as to why it's categorized as a cream finish. Don't get me wrong, when I say matte it's still so comfortable on the lips. What works for me might not happen for you. It turns a tad bit creamier with use, also possible because of the weather of Pakistan, but I don't mind because it is supposed to be a cream finish lipstick afterall! Despite its creamy feel, it isn't the most moisturizing lipstick and while I haven't had any trouble with it, people with dry skin might.  Dry lips be warned! Another thing that might annoy some people, is the smell of the lipstick. It's not entirely overwhelming but it's definitely there! A faint scent of some cheap kind of candy. Not the most appealing, but I have no complaints!

Just look at that gorgeous packaging! It looks and feels expensive and is lovely
to flaunt on your vanity. You will definitely be asked twice what lipstick that is.
I do feel that people will either love it or hate it because not everyone fancies a
gold lipstick, hahah, but you have to see it to believe that it is pretty indeed!

Only drawback to the metallic finish of the outside is that it catches fingerprints quite often but thankfully I haven't seen any fading, chipping or scratches on the packaging!

The shade Nude Creme, from the Milani Color Statement lipsticks is the lightest shade in all their cream formulas. It's a true, neutral toned pink nude, not too warm and not very cool either which is why this should look good on most skin tones! Perfect for smokey eyes or a no makeup makeup look! I love how this looks on me and it look so pretty on skin tones both lighter and deeper than mine (Have made literally all my friends try it! They love it too!).

Oh! Did I mention how long it lasts! It's quite impressive as it lasts 4-5 hours on me with eating, drinking and all the rest, hahah until it fades away. Without any snacking I'd say it lasts much longer but we shall see about that when I'm fasting! :) The staying power isn't as great for this shade compared to Buff Pink by Luscious but I still like this a lot! FYI: Buff Pink is a whole lot pinker and definitely deeper than Nude Creme.

After trying this one out, I literally ran to get more shades! Even my mum is in love and she rarely wants to buy a lot of lipsticks (aversion to my obsession I suppose!). To conclude, this shade is definitely my new favorite nude since my last one was discontinued! Love the formula. Love the Packaging. Love the shade and the price it comes with is not bad! It varies from 600-650 PKR depending on where you get it! I got mine from Beauty Arena.

LOVES:
-Pigmentation.
-Comfortable on the lips.
-Lasts 4-5 hours with meals.
-Fades evenly.
-Satin matte finish.

DISLIKES:
-Not super moisturizing.
-Faint candy-esque scent.

My Rating:
4/5:  Loving this!

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you have tried any other from the new Milani lipsticks that you recommend? I'd love to try! Have a great day!
