Sexy Hair: Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray: Review!

Hey there! Now that school is finally (FINALLYYY) done with I can now get back to blogging! Yay! Springs over and summer is here hotter than I have ever remembered and while I really hope it doesn't get any hotter than it already is or I'm pretty sure I'll melt away, there's nothing quite so sexy as beautifully tousled summer waves. A hair look that looks effortless but chic it's a simple one to rock any time of year. Sexy Hair brings the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray (wow that's a mouthful) to help you achieve just that!

Like all beach sprays meant for hair, this too claims to texturize and volumize the hair while adding some hold to your style. It claims to do all that AND nourish, protect and heal your hair with its Argan Oil, Soy Proteins, Pro-Vitamin B5 and Cocoa Extracts that act as antioxidants. Sounds fancy, but does it work?

I'm happy to report that on the most part, it does! I have naturally wavy to curly hair that is dry and slightly frizz prone with quite a bit of volume on its own. While I do not enjoy the hold it gives because it does leave hair feeling a little crusty from the sea salt and that may bother many, but from what I've noticed my hair is less frizzy and my waves and curls are slightly more defined but not dramatically. I also don't see a lot of volumization but I can't say that I need any more to be honest. However, the product leaves my hair super soft and feeling nourished and shiny after each use. In this way, it works for me much better as a conditioner or a protectant that repairs my hair from all the sun and heat damage of this (not-so) glorious summer. It smells mild but pleasant to me although I prefer my hair to smell better than it does when I apply this but its not unpleasant at all. It doesn't leave my hair greasy and I love how my hair feels after! It leaves my hair so soft it doesn't feel like I've used a styling product with sea salt since those can over dry your hair and mine is already dry! I make sure not to go over board with the amount I use to minimize the feeling of crusty hair.

The packaging is simple and lightweight but the bottle arrived slightly leaked because the nozzle was loose. Overall, the product works for me and it may work well for curly to wavy haired girls. Straight haired ladies will have to apply this and manually curl or add waves to their hair for the beachy wave look. If you cannot stand crispy hair, or are in need of dramatic hold and definition, then this is not for you. If you're looking for something with a slight hold and don't mind your hair feeling a little crusty for the added benefit of healing your locks while using a styling product then this is for you.

You can get Sexy Hair products at select salons throughout Pakistan for PKR 800 or so and you can buy it online at Ulta.
